Warranty
Granor Bath provides the standard 5-year warranty on workmanship for Antique tubs, regular bathtub and sink refinishing and restoration under normal wear and tear and excluding man made damage. However, the quality of our materials and workmanship long outlast the terms provided - with some customers not having to call us for 20+ years to do touch-ups.
We cover the following:
- Adhesion and Peeling: The refinished coating should adhere properly to the bathtub's surface and not peel or flake off under normal use and cleaning.
- Stain Resistance: The refinished surface should resist staining from commonly used bathroom products and cleaning agents when used as directed.
- Color Fading: The color of the refinished bathtub should not significantly fade or discolor under normal exposure to water and cleaning products.
- Cracking and Chipping: The refinished surface should resist cracking or chipping under normal use.
- Gloss Retention: The refinished surface should retain its gloss and finish under normal conditions.
- Surface Durability: The refinished surface should be durable and able to withstand the typical use of a bathtub, such as bathing, showering, and cleaning.
- Workmanship: The workmanship involved in the refinishing process, including preparation, application, and finishing, should meet professional standards and not contribute to premature deterioration.
